The studio
A slower way of being photographed
Most people arrive slightly nervous and leave surprised at how little was asked of them. That is the whole method.
Sessions begin with a conversation rather than a camera. We walk, we talk about what the pictures are actually for, and the first real frame usually happens once the self-consciousness has worn off — somewhere around the twenty-minute mark.
Every commission is photographed and edited by Neve, start to finish. Colour is graded by hand toward warm brass and deep shadow, the studio's signature, and files are delivered in a single gallery you can keep, download and share without an expiry date.

What happens after you write
Three steps, no surprises. You will know the plan for the day long before the day arrives.

Enquire
Send the form below with your date and what the photographs are for. You get a reply with availability, a full price list and two or three honest suggestions about approach.

Plan the day
We agree on locations, timing and light, then lock the date with a deposit. For weddings this includes a walkthrough of the schedule so nothing is being decided on the morning itself.

Delivery
Film is developed and scanned, digital is graded to match, and everything lands in one private gallery — downloadable in full resolution and in web-ready sizes.
Questions
The things people ask first
How long until I see the photographs?
Portrait and editorial galleries arrive within two weeks. Weddings take six to eight weeks because the film is developed and scanned before the digital grade is matched to it — you will have a short preview set within a few days either way.
Do you travel for commissions?
Yes, regularly. Travel beyond the usual working radius is quoted transparently as part of the enquiry, and multi-day trips are often cheaper than they sound when the days are grouped together.
What can I do with the images afterwards?
Personal sessions include full personal-use rights: print them, frame them, share them anywhere you like. Brand and editorial commissions carry a written licence scoped to how and where the work will run.
What if the weather turns?
Overcast is genuinely good light, so most sessions go ahead as planned. If conditions are unworkable we move to an indoor location we have already agreed on, or reschedule at no cost.
How is a date held?
A deposit holds the date and comes off the final figure. Until that is arranged the date stays open to other enquiries, so it is worth writing early for peak-season weekends.
